Directions to Southern Vermont Deerfield  Valley

GPS Users: Vermont is well-known for its scenic highways and main roads as well as its hiking and biking paths, and snowmobile trails. Please use caution, particularly in the winter, when relying on GPS locally.

By Bus:
Adventure Northeast NYC Vermont Bus Service provides scheduled service between NYC and the Mount Snow area. Call for more info: (718) 601-4707 or go to the website for current scheduling information.

Vermont Transit (802) 254-6066 and Greyhound offer bus service to Brattleboro, Vermont.

Current schedules and ticketing info can be found on their website. Taxi service is available from Brattleboro. 

 

By Train:
Amtrak offers daily train service from Washington, DC and New York City from the south and Montreal from the north to Brattleboro, Vermont aboard The Vermonter. Call 1-800-USA-RAIL for times and fares or go to the Amtrak Vermonter website for available station and fare info. 

By Air:
The most convenient commercial airports are:
Bradley International in Hartford, CT (1.5 hour drive time)
Logan International in Boston, MA (2.5 hour drive time)
Albany Airport in Albany, NY (1.5 hour drive time)

International travelers may need to use Kennedy or LaGuardia in New York City or Newark, NJ.

(Drive times from these airports are 4 – 5 hours.)

Springfield, MA = 1.5 hours

Hartford, CT = 1.75 hours

Boston, MA = 2.5 hours

New Haven, CT = 2.75 hours

Providence, RI = 3 hours

New York City (Westside) = 3.5 hours

Syracuse, NY = 4 hours

New York City (Eastside) = 4 hours

Rochester, NY = 5.5 hours
Montreal & Quebec City = 5.5 hours

Philadelphia, PA = 6 hours
Baltimore, MD = 7 hours
Washington, DC = 8 hours
